On behalf of the Board of Directors and the SBCI leadership team, we are pleased to share SBCI’s 2026-2029 Strategic Plan, which will guide our work over the next four years.
Developed collaboratively by SBCI’s Board of Directors and senior leadership, and informed by input from member boards, staff, and sector partners, this plan outlines how SBCI will continue to support school boards through proactive workplace solutions that promote employee well-being and contribute to student success.
The Strategic Plan reinforces our commitment to serving Members with foresight, responsiveness, and excellence, while acknowledging the increasing complexity facing school boards. It provides clear direction for how SBCI will move forward by strengthening services, modernizing digital capabilities, and improving how we engage with and support Members.
Together, these commitments provide a practical framework to guide decision-making, investment, and collaboration across SBCI.
Implementation of the Strategic Plan is underway, with key performance indicators monitored and reported regularly. Members are encouraged to stay engaged through ongoing communication, including updates shared at Annual General Meetings.
We thank Members and sector partners for their engagement and insights throughout the planning process. Your perspectives helped shape a plan that is both ambitious and grounded, reflecting the realities of today’s education sector while positioning SBCI for the future.
